The story behind the art:

I had been trying to think of a way that I could do a painting that represents kindness. One day I was at a park with my family, and we noticed a little scene that was my inspiration I had been looking for. There was a little girl who had lost her helium balloon and was quite upset by it. Then we noticed her sister give up her very own balloon by handing it to her to help her feel better. It was so sweet! My daughter leaned over to me and told me I should paint that, and I agreed. It’s a perfect example of true kindness.

(My little models are not the original girls, but super sweet nonetheless.)
